Dear Mr. Westmore,
I am a makeup instructor at a film & tv makeup school. I am interested in integrating a bio area of the beauty program which will include the Westmore Family and the contributions that the various Westmore artists have given to the film/television & beauty industry over the past 92 years…ie., false lashes and the like.
I think that it is important that students studying in the field of make for both film and beauty understand where the innovations were derived and where the “rules” of proper application first originated.
I will continue to do my own research throughout your web..but anything that may not be readily available…or common knowledge would be a great help.
I kindly thank you, in advance, for your time regarding this matter.
Sincerely, Sheilagh
Sheilagh,
Thank you for your comments. Certainly should you wish to visit our official websites you will find a large amount of useful information. Please be aware a vast amount of incorrect details also has been posted on non-Westmore websites much of this is conjecture and is not based on fact.
When you complete your research the Westmore Museum President will gladly review the material for accuracy. (You may submit items as a Microsoft Word Document.) We regularly assist authors/publishers requesting details and historic details for educational as well as entertainment publications from around the world.

Paul,
Thank you for your e-mail. I am sorry that my response was slow. I am interested in learning more, although I am skeptical as to it’s authenticity since George has been dead since 1931.
I am willing to look at a series of digital images should you wish to send them.
